The Frapin family perfected the craft of making cognac long ago—they’ve been at it since 1270 in the Grand Champagne region of France. Twenty generations later, the family launched an elegant and refined niche perfume line. It made perfect sense—romancing (or rather, distilling) a beautifully appointed cognac is similar to making a beautifully appointed perfume. Both begin with carefully harvested fruits of the earth and require an experienced alchemist to produce something divine from a symphony of flavors and scents, whether it’s for the lips or the wrists. The line of fragrances is meant to evoke life, countryside, and the history surrounding the family castle in this romantic and extraordinary region. The bottles are just as elegant and refined as the perfume, solidly hefty and topped by a beech wood cap made by an artisan pipe maker.
