Santa Maria Novella

Santa Maria Novella is one of Essenza’s most beloved Italian lines. It includes centuries-old Florentine formulas originally developed by Dominican monks for use in their own pharmacy. On cloistered grounds, monks began making remedies from their herb garden in the 1200s and later created near-to-heaven scents. Santa Maria Novella’s charming old-world perfumery has since replaced the pharmacy while honoring these time-tested and adored formulas. We were inspired during our visit there and are excited to share these intoxicating colognes, body care and home ambience products with you in the 21^st century.
